Glove Drop

This drill is going to be a speed training drill requiring two people. Fencer A and Fencer B will be helping us with a little demo again. OK, Guys, show us how its done! Fencer A stands with a sword (his choice) just far enough from the wall that he can riposte (simple extension of the sword arm) and touch the wall (NO DENTING IT!!!). Fencer B Pins a glove to the wall with his hand roughly six feet above the floor. Fencer B releases the glove and Fencer A ripostes. The riposte pins the glove to the wall (don't make dents) before it hits the ground.

To increase difficulty, lower the elevation of the glove before dropping (6ft becomes 5ft or 4ft) and/or have Fencer A take a step or two back.

Enjoy!
